Simola Hillclimb 2026 – Ticket sales now live
Knysna is set to host South Africa’s most celebrated hillclimb from 30 April to 3 May 2026. The 16th edition of the event brings classic cars, high‑speed action and a whole host of side attractions. Ticket sales are now open for the public, both online and at the gate.
What to expect
- Classic Car Friday – Begins with scrutineering on 1 May, followed by a parade along Knysna’s Waterfront Drive. The classic‑car competition is a highlight that all visitors can enjoy.
- King of the Hill – The main showdown takes place on Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May. Drivers battle it out on the 1.9 km Simola hill in three categories:
- Road Cars & Supercars
- Modified Saloon Cars
- Single‑Seaters, Sports Cars & Sports Prototypes
- Side events – Explanatory booths, live demos, food stalls, merchandise shops, and thrilling helicopter flips round out the action.
