Rolls‑Royce launches the 100‑year‑old Phantom Centenary Private Collection – just 25 will ever roll off the line

By Cale Nuttall – 28 Oct 2025

Rolls‑Royce has announced a new limited‑edition car that celebrates a full century of the Phantom name. The Phantom Centenary Private Collection is a bespoke version of the current Phantom VIII, designed to honour the people, places and milestones that have defined the marque’s flagship sedan over the last 100 years.

Only 25 examples will be produced – a truly exclusive tribute.

What makes this model special?

  • A nod to the past and future: The design incorporates elements inspired by key moments in Phantom history, from the wartime “Spirit of 87” vehicle to the iconic 2018 Century Flight Veneer.
  • Built on the Phantom VIII platform: It keeps the same luxurious interior and 6.75‑litre V12 powerplant that have become synonymous with the brand.
  • Ultra‑limited edition: The 25 units will be custom‑tuned and emblazoned with the Centenary crest, making each one a one‑of‑a‑kind collector’s piece.

Why the centenary?

The Phantom nameplate first appeared in 1906, and over the past century the vehicle has been a symbol of automotive excellence, evolving through wartime adaptations, post‑war luxury, and modern performance. The new Centenary Collection is a tribute to that legacy and to the drivers who have carried the name forward.

Where to see it

Rolls‑Royce has shown a preview at its London showroom, but the complete collection will only be available to a selected clientele worldwide. Each car will be built to the owner’s exact specifications, ensuring that no two are identical.
