Chery to become first Chinese make at the 24 Hours of Le Mans
China’s Wuhu‑based automaker Chery has unveiled a bold move aimed straight at the world’s most famous endurance race. The company will be the first Chinese brand to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, partnering for a five‑year stint with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the organisers of the event.
Under the deal, Chery will field its premium Exeed marque in a factory‑supported entry. The long‑term partnership is expected to bring Chinese engineering to the Le Mans circuit and could open doors for other Chinese manufacturers in global motorsport.
