Ferrari has unveiled the HC25, a unique creation from its One-Off series, part of the Maranello brand’s Special Projects programme. Built on the F8 Spider platform, the HC25 packs a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 delivering 529 kW and 770 N.m of torque, available from 7 000 and 3 250 r/min respectively. The mid-rear mounted engine revs to an 8 000 r/min redline, with power sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari says the HC25 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 8.2 seconds (after hitting 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds), and tops out at 340 km/h. Braking comes from 398 mm front and 360 mm rear discs.
The HC25 wears Moonlight Grey exterior paint, with contrasting black trim accents – including a distinctive “ribbon” that wraps around the car and features an arrow-shaped design on each side. The ribbon houses essential thermal-management components, such as radiator air intakes and heat extraction for the powertrain.
At the front, the bespoke headlamps feature vertical daytime-running lights – a first for a Ferrari. The car measures 4 758 mm in length and 2 006 mm in width, and its striking bodywork sits on unique five-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels. The 20-inch rims are shod with 245/35- and 305/35-size tyres at the front and rear, respectively.
