Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 7, marking a significant upgrade in its foldable phone lineup. With standout features like the innovative FlexWindow and DeX desktop support, this device aims to redefine the clamshell foldable experience.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 impresses with a blend of design refinements and powerful hardware, setting a new benchmark for foldable smartphones in the market. Samsung’s latest offering is packed with enhancements that will appeal to tech enthusiasts and everyday users alike.

Samsung’s Foldable Evolution: FlexWindow Leads the Way

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes with a major highlight—the FlexWindow cover screen. At 4.1 inches, this cover display is significantly larger than the previous 3.4-inch screen and offers a vibrant Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

This expanded cover screen fully covers the upper half of the phone’s front and integrates dual camera lenses plus an LED flash. The edge-to-edge design enhances usability, letting users interact with apps, notifications, and widgets without opening the device.

The main display measures 6.9 inches and features a dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with a crisp 2520 x 1080 resolution. The 120Hz refresh rate and 2600 nits peak brightness ensure smooth visuals and excellent outdoor readability.

This foldable phone balances portability and performance, measuring 75.2 x 85.5 mm when folded, and extending to 166.7 mm unfolded. Weighing just 188 grams, it’s light enough to be pocket-friendly while offering a large immersive display when opened.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Flip 7 with a robust camera setup. It boasts a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide lens on the back, ensuring versatility in photography. The front-facing 10MP selfie camera is supported by the ProVisual Engine for enhanced image quality in various lighting conditions.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Exynos 2500 chipset, backed by 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Its 4300mAh battery supports 25W fast charging, promising all-day usage.

The device also brings improvements beyond hardware. An enhanced hinge mechanism offers smoother folding and durability, while the phone features an IPX8 water resistance rating, making it more resilient against water exposure.

Running on Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 introduces new AI-powered tools and features. These include desktop mode support via DeX, a Gemini Live streaming function, and the innovative Now Bar for multitasking.

Priced at $1099(R19 514,06) for the 256GB model and $1219(R21 644,81) for the 512GB version, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is now available for pre-order through Samsung’s official website. This new foldable sets a fresh standard for clamshell phones, combining style, power, and smart usability.
