The idea of “Lomtana” was born from a meeting of talent in Johannesburg. Bandros had just released the big‑beat anthem “Brenda 2.0” – a rave‑jump track featuring Mia, Sipho Magudulela, Kagiso and Simon – so the market was primed for another fresh sound.
From the first chord the song wraps listeners in a soft, nostalgic mood. The production is anchored by Bandros’ silky, mid‑tempo log drums and a velvet‑like bassline. CJ Keys layers lush harmonics and melodic flourishes, giving the track the soulful backbone it needs.
