Geely is set to re‑enter South Africa, teaming up with WesBank to make car buying easier
Geely, the Chinese car‑maker that last left the South African market more than a decade ago, is gearing up to relaunch its local operations in 2025. To stake firmly in our market and help more South Africans drive, the brand’s local arm – Geely Auto South Africa (GASA) – has struck a partnership with WesBank.
The deal is all about money. By offering easier and more flexible finance options, Geely and WesBank aim to make buying a new vehicle less of a hassle. The partnership should help the automaker re‑establish itself locally while opening up car ownership to a wider audience.
