Following the reveal of the GLA Night Edition, Mercedes-Benz South Africa has introduced the CLA Night Edition to our market. Similar to its compact-SUV sibling, the CLA Night Edition is finished in MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey, complemented by the Night Package – the latter adding gloss black accents to several exterior items, such as the mirror caps and window trim, and a star-patterned radiator grille. The CLA Night Edition is also fitted with a set of model-specific AMG wheels. Additionally, the CLA Night Edition ships with the Mirror Package and LED High Performance headlamps, replete with adaptive high beam assist.
Inside, the special-edition model’s interior remains untouched from the AMG-Line spec it is based on. The CLA’s dual-screen display features a 10.25-inch central infotainment screen, replete with the firm’s latest MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), as well as digital instrumentation of the same size positioned behind a Nappa leather steering wheel. Nappa leather sports seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, and turbine-styled air vents finished in silver chrome are also included with the CLA Night Edition package.

Priced from R958 418, the CLA 200 Night Edition is positioned above the CLA 200 Progressive and AMG-Line derivatives – the former and latter priced from R900 124 and R900 124, respectively. Included in the price are a two-year/unlimited km warranty and a five-year/100 000 km maintenance plan.

As a reminder, the CLA 200’s 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol engine produces 120 kW and 270 N.m of torque. Assisted by 48 V mild-hybrid technology, the powertrain delivers power to the front wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
