Porsche revives the iconic Carrera GT in a fresh Salzburg‑inspired look
Porsche has unveiled a one‑of‑a‑kind, recommissioned Carrera GT, finished in Austrian‑inspired Salzburg design.
The German sports‑car maker has lifted the hood on a special edition of its legendary Carrera GT. The 2005 mid‑engined super‑scar—one of Porsche’s most coveted models of the decade—has been given a stunning makeover by the brand’s bespoke Sonderwunsch Manufaktur division.
The vehicle was commissioned by Puerto Rican enthusiast Victor Gómez. After more than two decades since the Carrera GT’s original debut in 2003, the model now boasts fresh styling cues that pay homage to the Austrian city of Salzburg, giving it a fresh, modern edge while preserving its hard‑knocked heritage.

With its unique Ludwig‑inspired trim, the newly commissioned Carrera GT stands out even among its peers, proving that Porsche’s legacy can still inspire bold new visions.
