WIKO’s Huawei X70 is set to drop on 30 October – here’s what we know
After showing off the Hi MateBook 14, WIKO is ready to unleash a brand‑new phone – the Huawei X70 – at the end of the month.
WIKO drops the news on Weibo
The company posted a fresh update on its Weibo feed, confirming that the Huawei X70 will hit the market on 30 October. The device promises a fresh look and upgraded specs.
“Your hardcore gear is here! Follow and forward, draw a new machine! #WIKO# X70 | Kunlun quality, one‑click Beidou. 3 days countdown, October 30th, hardcore debut!”
The X70 has already made its way into the China Telecom database (model CHE‑AN00). Its camera module is a square design with a distinctive lens frame, and the sensors line up vertically while the LED flash sits on a separate corner.
New 5G‑Evolved Mobile Broadband
The phone will support eMBB (evolved Mobile Broadband), which offers higher data rates, bigger bandwidths and greater capacity than 4G. It’s ideal for users who run data‑hungry apps or VR services.
One‑tap Beidou satellite feature
With a tap, you can send short satellite messages or even make a phone call via Beidou. More details are expected in the weeks to come.
Sturdier screen and big battery
- 6.7‑inch display with Kunlun Glass – the new glass is about 20 % harder, making it more scratch‑ and drop‑resistant.
- 6 000 mAh battery for all‑day power.
- 50 MP main camera plus a 2 MP depth sensor for sharp photos and good portrait shots.
We’ll learn more when the official launch event takes place.
