Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 rolls out to more phones, tablets and wearables

Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 and a raft of other devices are getting the long‑awaited HyperOS 3 update, and the rollout will happen in stages.

Xiaomi’s newer software, named HyperOS 3, first hit the market a few weeks ago, but it was only offered to a handful of models. The tech giant has now begun pushing the full version to a wider range of smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and watches—including the popular Xiaomi MIX Flip 2.

The company announced the update on Weibo, noting that it would arrive in batches. As is common on the market, Xiaomi follows a “grayscale‑to‑full” rollout: early adopters receive the update first, and later batches are released after testing.

How the batch rollout works

Xiaomi eases new software onto devices slowly so that bugs are caught early. The exact schedule for each model depends on internal testing and planning. If you want to see whether your phone is ready for the upgrade, go to:

Settings ➜ About phone ➜ System updates

A new update will appear if your device is part of the current batch.
