Export snapshot – November 2025
According to the National Automobile Manufacturers Association of South Africa (NAAMSA), the country shipped 35 848 new cars abroad in November 2025. That marks a 3.9 % (or 1 437‑unit) drop from the 37 285 vehicles exported in November 2024.
Despite this slight dip, the year‑to‑date total is 5.6 % higher than the same period last year, showing that the sector is still pulling through even with shaky global demand and fresh geopolitical tensions following the G20 Summit.
Another bright spot: exports in November climbed by 3 189 units compared to 32 659 vehicles shipped in October 2025.
