Ferrari replaced the Roma in its lineup, and in July 2025 the Italian brand pulled the wraps off the Amalfi. As we noted when the Amalfi was unveiled, a Spider (convertible) version could follow—and it did, with the Maranello marque revealing the Amalfi Spider in March 2026. We can now confirm how much the Amalfi Spider costs in South Africa.

As a reminder, the drop-top version of Ferrari’s “entry-level” offering uses a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 470 kW and 760 N.m of torque — the latter available across a broad 3 000-5 750 r/min rev range. Peak power comes in at 7 500 r/min. The front-mounted petrol unit sends drive to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Despite weighing 86 kg more than its fixed-roof sibling (1 470 kg, claimed), the Amalfi Spider hits 0-100 km/h in the same time — 3.3 seconds (claimed). The drop-top’s top speed is similar to the coupé’s too, at 320 km/h. Compared to the coupé, the Spider (1 556 kg, claimed) is slightly slower from a standstill to 200 km/h, taking 9.4 seconds.

Thanks to the folks at duoporta, we can confirm the Ferrari Amalfi Spider is priced from R6 250 000; making it R100 000 more expensive than the Amalfi coupé. Included with the price as standard are a three-year/unlimited km warranty and a seven-year/unlimited km service plan.

The Amalfi Spider’s Z-fold roof mechanism allows the electrically operated soft-top to open in just 13.5 seconds, at speeds of up to 60 km/h. When the roof is stowed, the boot offers a claimed 172 litres of packing space.
