5. Chery Tiggo 7 – 425 units (up 135)

In April 2026, the Chery Tiggo 7 finished fifth among SA’s top five best-selling Chinese passenger vehicles, delivering 425 new units — up 135 from March.

4. Omoda C5 – 884 units (up 39)

The C5 continued to lead Omoda & Jaecoo’s sales in April 2026, with 885 customers putting pen to paper for this Chery sub-brand’s best-selling product. The 884 C5s sold accounted for 63.9% of Omoda & Jaecoo’s total sales.

3. Jetour T2 – 1 004 units (up 458)

The increasingly popular Jetour T2, which we sampled in March 2026, posted stronger sales in April 2026. In April, 1 004 T2s left showrooms — up 358 from March. A plug-in hybrid variant joined the T2 range mid-April.

2. Haval Jolion – 1 277 units (up 15)

Leading the Baoding-based brands’ local sales charge, the Haval Jolion accounted for 67.3% of GWM’s total new passenger-vehicle sales, with 1 277 units sold. The second-best-selling car from this GWM sub-brand was the Haval H6, with 413 units sold.

1. Chery Tiggo 4 Pro/Cross – 1 871 units (down 17)

In April 2026, the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro/Cross not only retained first spot on this list, but also topped SA’s overall best-selling passenger cars. A total of 1 871 new Tiggo 4 Pro/Cross units left showrooms in April, making up 75.9% of Chery’s total April 2026 vehicle sales.
