Boasting up to 850 kW and a 0-100 km/h time of 2.5 seconds, the Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric has made its global debut.
The Cayenne Coupé Electric arrives in three versions: Cayenne, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo. The twin electric-motor setup in the base Cayenne delivers 300 kW, or 325 kW with launch control. Porsche says the “base” electric Cayenne Coupé does 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and tops out at 230 km/h.
In the Cayenne S Coupé Electric, the dual-motor system produces 400 kW, rising to 490 kW with launch control. That allows a 0-100 km/h sprint of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h, according to Porsche.
Leading the lineup, the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric kicks out 630 kW, climbing to a blistering 850 kW with launch control. Porsche claims it hits 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h.
Dimensions and practicality-wise, the electric Coupé matches the SUV on length and width at 4,985 mm long and 1,980 mm wide. That makes the electric Coupé 55 mm longer and 3 mm narrower than the petrol-powered SUV. The roofline is lower too, at 1,650 mm versus 1,678 mm for the ICE model. Boot space sits at 534 litres, which expands to 1,347 litres with the rear seats folded. The front luggage area offers 90 litres of space.
Thanks to its coupé styling, the model has a lower drag coefficient than the SUV—0.23 versus 0.25. Porsche says this helps boost the combined WLTP range by up to 18 km, up to 669 km in the Cayenne Coupé Electric, compared with the SUV.
