Chery South Africa hits a record month in November
Chery South Africa smashed its own sales record in November 2025, selling 2,506 cars in a single month – the highest figure the company has ever posted in the country since it re‑entered the market in 2021.
The jump in sales has pushed the Chinese automaker up to seventh place in the overall South African automotive rankings for the month, and it clinched the top spot among all Chinese‑made vehicles on the market.
With the new figures, Chery confirmed that its local lineup – including popular models such as the Tiggo 4 Pro – is gaining traction among South Africans. The brand’s success reflects a growing acceptance of Chinese cars in the region, as well as the company’s focus on delivering value‑packed, stylish vehicles.

Key take‑away: November’s 2,506 sales units represent Chery’s best monthly performance yet in South Africa, securing both a spot in the top ten overall and a lead among Chinese‑manufactured cars.
