Huawei launches October 2025 EMUI update for Nova 13 Pro, Pura 70 series, and more
Huawei is rolling out its October 2025 EMUI update to a range of smartphones – from the new Nova 13 Pro to the older flagship P 50 Pocket fold‑able. Smartwatch users are getting security patches too.
Nova 13 Pro gets the first global update
Starting with the Huawei Nova 13 Pro, users will see the new firmware marked 14.2.0.150. The update is about 305 MB in size, so make sure you have enough space before you install.
Pura 70 series and P 60 Pro
The Pura 70 series is receiving the latest security rollout with the EMUI 14.2.0.222 build.
P 60 Pro is on the same update list, but its version is EMUI 14.2.0.183.
Older flagships also get the fresh build
Phones like the P 50 Pocket and the Mate X3 fold‑able now have the October 2025 update too. They use the EMUI 14.2.0.183 build and the package is around 350 MB.
Wearables get their share of the fresh security patch
Huawei Watch Ultimate, Watch Ultimate Green, and GT 5 Pro are getting the new HarmonyOS version this month. If you own any of these wrist gadgets, it’s a good idea to update them for improved security and stability.

Rollout timeline and what to do
All of these updates are being released in batches, so it may take a while before every eligible device gets the firmware. Keep an eye on the Software Update section on your phone so you won’t miss the latest version.
Huawei is currently concentrating on the Mate 80 series in China, plus a special “Air” variant fighting against the iPhone Air and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. For wearables, a bright purple colour is slated for the Watch Ultimate 2, though it’s unclear if that hue will ship worldwide.
