Mitsubishi has just unveiled the Triton Terra, a limited-edition flagship for the Brazilian market packed with premium upgrades. Only 300 examples will be produced.

Mitsubishi Motors has introduced the Triton Terra, a new limited-edition flagship built for Brazil. Only 300 units will be made.
Terra adds “premium” touches to the cabin, including a new black-and-brown colour scheme, chrome finishes and leather trim. Terra branding appears on the headrests. Chrome trim also graces the exterior badging, door handles and wing mirrors, while the front skid plate and roof rails are painted silver. The Terra comes with automatically deploying and retracting side steps and a set of 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The package also includes LED lighting for the load bed, a damping system for the tailgate and an electrically operated load bay cover.
Inside, the Terra keeps the standard model’s 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 7.0-inch instrument cluster. It also adds a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Under the skin, the Terra uses Mitsubishi’s 2.4-litre twin-turbocharged four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, which is slated to arrive in the local market this year. The twin-turbo engine pushes 150 kW and 470 Nm of torque, about 15 kW and 40 Nm more than the single-turbo variant. Power goes to all four wheels via Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II system, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
